Bio:

Peter’s driving motivation was the rape and murder of his teenage daughter by a (deranged) vampire almost 20 years ago. His wife was already dead and this event broke him. Peter quickly lost his job and took to the bottle. As fate would have it he frequented a bar that was the meeting place for a cell of Hunters of The Union compact. He soon became a member. This lasted seven years, before the cell ran afoul of a Promethean and were all killed save Peter. Following this Peter took to drinking again.

He drank the next two years away, but eventually he managed to bring himself into rehab. While in rehab he met another ex-hunter, Joanne Foxx. Joanne had been a member of Network Zero and, like Peter, had lost her whole cell. The two hit it off, and both decided they weren’t done with the supernatural. Joanne introduced Peter to the Kirlian camera and they developed a simple but effective strategy: they would go around with Kirlian cameras, and kill anything that didn’t look normal.

They quickly learned to recognise some common auras such as Vampires and Werewolves. Furthermore, they saved many people from death at the hands of supernaturals amd those they saved joined their group. Soon they had more than 20 members. In the meantime Joanne and Peter got married.

The group became the Black Vipers when an ex-criminal member showed Peter how his old gang had used luminol based tattoos to identify undercover cops. His tattoo was of a black viper, so Peter took it as the group’s symbol.

Through a combination of tracking Vampire activities near the new Mexico border and listening in on the criminal grapevine the Vipers located a Coterie of Ordo Dracul Vampires who were producing the first Red Meth. These vampires became the first donor’s to the Vipers supply of Meth. Unfortunately, the process the Ordo Dracul had been using still produced a blood bond with repeated use, and the Vampires had to be killed since they were becoming dangerous. Almost a year later, the Vipers learned that adding the blood of “Sparklers” (Mages) into the cooking process created Red Meth that did not cause a blood bond, and gave the users easy access to “superpowers” to boot (one dot of Vigor, Resilience or Celerity). Unfortunately keeping the Mage alive while draining their blood and not allowing them to reagin consciousness tended to kill the Mage in question fairly quickly

Since his encounter with the Cabal and the wounds he took as a result of that he has become addicted to painkillers, and suffers from shakes in stressful situations unless he takes them. He has a truce of sorts with the Cabal, but distrusts them
